Nokia lost the suit of 10 patents infringement case against Apple
Nokia had sued Apple for violating its patents of mobile phone technology, the dispute was finished as Nokia lost the suit. Nokia disappointed with the result , as Apple had no comment on it.
United States International Trade Commission said, Apple did not constitute an infringement to 5 patents which were put forward by Nokia.
The contents of the adjudication will be released after Nokia and Apple modified the trade secret text.
Nokia spokesman said: “This is a disappointed result, after releasing of a formal adjudication, Nokia will decide the next action.
Apple did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
The legal dispute between Nokia and Apple began in October 2009. Nokia said, all iPhone models dating back to the original introduced in 2007 are infringing. Then both two companies have been accusing each other of violating its patents.
Nokia had sued Apple for patent infringement since October 2009, claiming that iPhone unauthorized use 10 Nokia patents, related to GSM, 3G, and Wi-Fi networks.
In the same year in December, Apple filed a counterclaim against Nokia for 13 patents infringement as well.
